Through his use of innovative technology Dr. Novo is often able to deliver results in shorter time spans than were previously possible and with less surgical trauma.

We provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment planning methods, such as our own in office CAT Scan machine and use advanced 3D Computer Implant Treatment Planning Software specifically designed to minimize implant surgery time and trauma, optimize your appearance and achieve the best possible outcomes, even for the most challenging cases that may have been labeled as untreatable at another office.
Education
In addition to his extensive educational background, Dr. Novo has not become complacent about his surgical skills or knowledge. He is a frequent attendee at various dental, surgical and implant conferences and is always working to stay on top of his field. In addition to being a "student" of his specialty, he is also an educator, lecturing to other surgeons and dentists. Dr. Novo is an attending surgeon at New York Methodist Hospital, a branch of the New York Presbyterian Hospital System and Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he participates in the the post graduate education of several hospital dental residents.
Office Sterility
Dr. Novo takes this important issue very seriously and constantly strives to protect his patients and workers from the spread of infection from an individual or an instrument. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Anesthesia Safety
As a New York State licensed provider of in office anesthesia, we offer the full range of anesthetic options spanning from local anesthesia to nitrous oxide (laughing gas), intravenous sedation and full general anesthesia. Our office is required to pass a anesthesia site visit exam by the the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Dr. Novo maintains continuous A.C.L.S. (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. In addition, all of our assistants are B.L.S. (Basic Life Support) certified.

Dr. Novo wants you to be confident knowing that he works with a team of highly trained and skilled professionals. At various times he calls upon the expertise of his colleagues in related dental specialties, such as Restorative Dentistry and Prosthetics, Periodontics, Orthodontia or Oral Pathology to take part in the treatment of the most severe and challenging cases.
